Harbour Air Seaplanes is the first all-seaplane airline to be granted a full Air Operators License in Malta.
Trading under Harbour Air (Malta) Ltd and having private Maltese majority shareholding, the Company is backed by and has Harbour Air Inc. Canada as its partner, the largest seaplane operator in the world with over 25 years experience in this field. Its Canadian partner has locally provided the knowledge and expertise required to run a successful, efficient and seaplane service.
Since its Malta inception during July 2007, Harbour Air Seaplanes has carried over 12,000 passengers on scenic flights around the Maltese Islands and through daily trips to Gozo’s Mgarr harbour.
Future plans include flights to various ports in Sicily and other Italian islands in close proximity, with the aim of enhancing tourism to and from these destinations.
Based at Valletta’s Grand Harbour, with two other customer-service and retail offices located in Floriana (Valletta Waterfront) and Gozo, Harbour Air Seaplanes is committed to provide optimum service, comfort and safety to all its passengers.
Harbour Air (Malta) Ltd’s current float seaplane in operation is a De Havilland ‘Single Otter’ aircraft capable of taking up to 14 passengers.
